AgentDesk ships system-prompt presets so the whole team — and every tool — starts from the same baseline behaviour for common tasks. Pick a preset per task instead of re-writing instructions each time.

Built-in presets

coding_general	"You are an expert software engineer. Write clean, well-tested, production-ready code. Follow project conventions. Do not introduce unnecessary dependencies."
design_and_planning	"You are a senior architect and product manager. Focus on clarity, scalability, and alignment with goals. Produce structured plans with clear acceptance criteria."
review_and_quality	"You are a rigorous code reviewer focused on quality and correctness. Identify bugs, security issues, performance problems, style violations."

Using and customising

Presets are available across the app and to the MCP clients. You can reset them to the defaults above at any time, or adapt them to your team's conventions — pairing a preset with your project's Event memory means the model gets both the style (the preset) and the facts (your project's conventions) in one shot.
